UNFURL: [ uhn-furl ]
to open from a furled state, especially to the wind

“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” — Anais Nin

I am an emcee and speaker for conferences of all sizes. I help attendees synthesize and integrate their learning, build community, deepen their understanding, and move toward action.

I am a consultant and facilitator who draws group conversations in real-time, creating mural-sized visual maps as part of strategic planning, team development, and learning. I design powerful group processes to get to the core of the questions being considered.

I am a coach and teacher for people who want to become more visible and more liberated with their creative expression. We do this by working with the very things we have kept hidden.

I am a writer and performer of autobiographical stories that help audiences see themselves, opening up new possibilities for them to be authentic, vulnerable, and creative.

People, groups, things reach a state of readiness to open. The timing of unfurling can be a mystery. I was furled for most of my life. I longed to be open but did not know how to get there.

My work in all these realms is about unfurling — groups, conversations, individuals, myself. Life can furl us, we can furl ourselves, intentionally or otherwise. Furling is part of the process. Unfurling is inevitable. Expression, liberation, breakthrough … is all part of the furling and unfurling.
