Do you want to become more creatively liberated?

Colour-0751.jpg

I coach people who long to feel more creatively free by helping them express their truest selves — exploring the shadows we all have, looking into the dark, seeing what is there, bringing it into the light, and releasing it. Afterward, you will move through the world with a greater sense of freedom and range of expression. For the first forty years of my life I was creatively blocked. This all changed when I took a class to write an autobiographical story and perform it in front of an audience. To prepare, I went to see solo performers telling personal stories. As I sat in the audience, I vacillated between thinking, “I can’t believe she’s saying that,” to “I am so glad she’s saying that.”

I knew I would have to share something just as vulnerable and not take an easy, familiar route of using humor, sarcasm, and sass. When I first performed my story, a man thanked me because the story connected us and provided him some kind of relief in hearing it. We both were liberated. I want that kind of creative liberation for others.

Create Coaching

Interested in amplifying your creativity in your work, life, relationships and self-expression? I work with clients who are seeking more liberty with their creative expression. Whether it’s a bigger project they are taking on like writing a book or wanting to commit to a regular creative practice, we partner to do two things: Tend to the present state for all the ways we have already made changes in our lives and foster the desired state, because one day, it will be the new present state.

My clients commit to work with me for one year. Impactful and lasting change requires mindful and diligent attention over time. The things we really want in our lives, yet don’t have, are often absent for good reasons. Loosening those barriers and getting clarity on what we really want will result in movement towards our yearnings. After a 90 minute discovery session, we meet monthly to track the progression, manage the snags and readjust the trajectory as needed.

I have been facilitating change with groups and individuals for over fifteen years. I am s certified Co-Active Coach by The Coaches Training Institute in 2008. I have a master’s degree in Organizational Change. I use many tools from multiple modalities to engage in the process of unfurling into ourselves.

Sign up for a free, 30 minute inquiry conversation with me to see whether I am the creative thought partner you need to boost your personal or professional project.

As a facilitator, Julie is a natural. Keeping it deceptively simple, Julie promotes open dialogue and inquiry yet maintains a safe space for participants. I found the content and format to be brilliant, and the visual drawing of our workshop’s progress added comprehension and focus, a few notches above what I was accustomed to. I recommend Julie wholeheartedly.
