Emcee and Speaker
Are you looking for a grounding presence to synthesize and deepen the conference experience for your attendees?
I am both synthesizer and a warm, engaging presence as an emcee or speaker. At conferences, attendees are immersed in content from keynotes, breakouts, and connecting with colleagues. It can be overwhelming and also inspiring. I weave these complex experiences together to support participants’ sensemaking and connection, deepening their conference experience.
There are two skills that define me as an emcee and speaker: the ability to see patterns in complex bodies of information, and being a grounding and calm presence amidst the complexity and exploration of a conference. In fact, I have worked for over thirty years in environments where my primary role has been to track and make sense of multitudes of information so people can view the bigger picture. For example, as a visual facilitator, I organize and synthesize groups’ divergent thinking into cohesive visual maps that enable them to see where they have been and where they need to go next.
By seeing a familiar face and relaxing presence throughout your conference, the seeds of inspiration can begin to sprout, so on their return home your attendees’ insights can shift into action, making your event even more meaningful for them.
